Charles P. Wilber, son of Peter L. Wilber of Fair Haven, died at his home at Paterson last Wednesday. He was 56 years old and had been in poor health a long time. The funeral was held on Saturday and the body was buried at Paterson. Mr. Wilber was born at New York, and when a young man he engaged in insurance business at Paterson. He never lived at Fair Haven, but was well known there on account of his numerous visits to the place. A widow and two children survive him. Eight brothers and sisters also survive him. The surviving brothers and sisters are Mrs. Augustus Minton, Mrs. Charles Doughty, Mrs. C. L. Bennett, Miss Kate Wilber and Edward Wilber of Fair Haven; Mrs. George Ray of Brooklyn, Mrs. John Morgan of Paterson and William Wilber of Detroit.
