John Martin of Fair Haven died on Sunday afternoon of pneumonia, aged 62 years. He was taken sick last Thursday and died two days later. The funeral was held this morning at St James's church and the body was buried at Mount Olivet.

Mr. Martin was born in Ireland and married there about 38 years ago. He had been living at Fair Haven for the past 32 years. During the past two years he was employed on the Seabright golf club grounds. He leaves a wife and three sons. The sons are Jerry, Dennis and Patrick Martin, all of whom are grown up and live at home.
