New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - Mrs. Sarah (Kelley) Craig


Mrs. Sarah (Kelley) Craig, wife of James Craig, died at the corner of River street and Tilton avenue of heart disease and kidney trouble on Saturday, aged 29 years. She had been complaining but had been in comparatively good health until the day before her death. Mrs. Craig was a daughter of Sarah and John Kelley of Farmingdale and was born at that place. Her father died six years ago. Both Mr. and Mrs. Craig are well known at Freehold, having lived there for several years. Mrs. Craig leaves two sisters and seven brothers. They are Mrs. Thomas Reardon of Scobeyville, Mrs. James Brennan of New York, John Kelley of Red Bank, Joseph, Henry and Timothy Kelley of Long Branch, Patrick Kelley of Seabright, Andrew Kelley of Farmingdale and William Kelley of Oil City, Pennsylvania. The funeral was held at nine o’clock on Monday morning at St. James’s church, Rev. James A. Reynolds officiating. The body was buried at Freehold.
