Rebecca Drummond Haight, daughter of Mrs. Mary L. Haight of Rector place, died on Sunday afternoon. She was taken sick on Thursday with the grip, but she was not thought to be seriously sick until Sunday morning. Heart disease set in and she sank rapidly. Miss Haight was born at Colt's Neck and had lived there until two years ago when her mother moved to Red Bank. Her father, John T. Haight, died seven years ago. Miss Haight leaves two brothers. They are Thomas Haight, who attends a New York law school, and John Haight, who lives at home. The funeral was held at one o'clock Tuesday at the house. The sermon was preached by Rev. S. R. Cunningham, pastor of the Colt's Neck Reformed church. The body was buried in the family vault on the old Haight place at Colt's Neck. The pall bearers were John Forsythe and George Cooper of Red Bank, William Sherman of Colt's Neck and C. Cupid of New York.
