|
Martha J. (Kidd) Campbell, wife of Charles Campbell of Freehold, died last Thursday, aged 48 years. About three months ago Mrs. Campbell was taken sick with the grip. This developed into consumption and caused her death. Mrs. Campbell was born at New York and was the daughter of Jane and William Kidd. In 1870 she married Mr. Campbell, a nephew of the late Andrew Campbell, who patented the "Campbell" printing press. About sixteen years ago Mr. and Mrs. Campbell moved to Freehold where they had since lived. Besides her husband Mrs. Campbell leaves five children. They are Mrs. Mamie W. Ewart, Miss Mattie J.Campbell, Andrew C. Campbell, William F. Campbell and Harry C. Campbell, all of Freehold. One brother and one sister, who live at New York, also survive her.
