New Jersey Obituaries - 1900 - William P. Zieglar


   

William P. Zieglar of Wallace street died last night of Bright's disease, aged 32 years. He had been confined to the house about two weeks. The funeral will be held on Friday at the house. Mr. Zieglar was a substitute letter carrier and the letter carriers will act as pall bearers at his funeral. He will be buried in his letter carrier uniform. Rev. E. C. Hancock will conduct the service and the body will be buried at Fair View cemetery.

Mr. Zieglar was the son of Adam Ziegler of Little Silver. He married Lucy A. Haviland, daughter of Augustus Haviland of Red Bank, who, with one child survives him. Besides a father and mother he leaves three brothers and three sisters. They are Fred, George and Frank Zieglar, Mrs. Thomas Reynolds and Mrs. Oscar Breckenridge of Little Silver, and Mrs. Peter Augustuson of Long Branch.
