Patrick Callahan of Shrewsbury died of pneumonia last Thursday, aged 63 years. He had been sick only five days. Mr. Callahan was a railroad man but he had done no active work for the past ten years. He leaves a widow and six children. The children are Misses Nora and Hannah Callahan of Shrewsbury, Mrs. John Feany of Eatontown, Daniel Callahan, who is employed by E. C. Hazard of Shrewsbury; Patsy Callahan who is employed as a policeman at West Long Branch, and Mrs. Albert McSweeney of New York. Mrs. Annie Murphy, wife of Edward Murphy of Shrewsbury avenue, is Mr. Callahan's step-daughter. The funeral was held at St. James's church on Monday morning and the body was buried in Mount Olivet cemetery at Headden's corner.
