John Hankinson died suddenly in Texas a few days ago, aged about 52 years. He was the son of the late Theodore Hankinson and was born at Manalapan. He was a member of the firm of Jackson & Co., of Union Square, New York, and was well known at Shrewsbury and Freehold. He was always very active in church work and was a deacon in Dr. Kittridgee's church at New York. He went to Texas two months ago for the benefit of his health.
Mr. Hankinson leaves a widow and two children. The children are Harry Hankinson, who attends Princeton college, and Kenneth Hankinson, aged ten years. Two sisters and a brother also survive him. They are Mrs. Vanderveer VanDorn of Red Bank, Miss Hannah L. Hankinson of Eatontown and William A. Hankinson of New York.
