New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Mrs. Lydia C. (Emery) Woolley

Mrs. Lydia C. Woolley of Oakhurst, widow of Montillion W. Woolley, died suddenly on Tuesday of last week, aged 69 years. She was on her way home from a cottage prayer meeting which was held at Joseph E. Reed's, when she was stricken with heart disease and died soon after. Mrs. Woolley was the daughter of Julia and Jacob Emery and was born at Trumansburg, New York. She married Mr. Woolley in 1865. Five children survive her. They are George H. Woolley of Buffalo, Lewis E. and Miss Hattie Woolley of Oakhurst, John F. Woolley, manager of Ocean Mills; and Alfred M. Woolley of Saratoga. Mrs. Woolley leaves also six step-children. They are Matthias Woolley of Long Branch, Edgar Woolley of Buffalo, James R. Woolley, Mrs. Luke Conrow, Mrs. S. Corlies Morris and Miss Cornelia Woolley.
