New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - John Forrest Emmons

John Forrest Emmons of Manasquan died last Wednesday, aged forty years. He had been sick eight weeks. On Monday, March 6th, he was seized with hemorrhages which lasted three days, and death was due principally to weakness caused thereby. Mr. Emmons had been agent at Manasquan for the United States express company for ten years. He was a member of the Knights of the Golden Eagle, of the American Mechanics and of the Red Menís lodge. He leaves a widow, two sons and two daughters.
