New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Joseph T. Hendrickson

Joseph T. Hendrickson, who for the past ten years had conducted a farm and distillery at Ely, in Millstone township, died on Saturday, March 18th, aged 58 years. His wife was Miss Rebecca Anderson and she and six children survive him. The children are Edward K. Hendrickson and Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas of Ely, Theodore Hendrickson and Joseph T. Hendrickson, Jr., of Smithburg, Mrs. Melvina Clayton of Freehold and Mrs. Cora Thomas of Carr’s Tavern. Mr. Hendrickson was a veteran of the civil war and was a member of the Clarksburg tribe of Red Men. He had held a number of township offices and at the time of his death he was a justice of the peace.
