New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Jeremiah Grant

Jeremiah Grant, son of W. J. Grant of Shrewsbury, died on Thursday of diphtheria, aged nineteen years. He had been sick about a week. Dr. J. E. Sayre of Red Bank was called in on the case, and as soon as the nature of the disease became apparent he had the house quarantined. At one time it was thought Mr. Grant would recover, but he grew worse again and on Friday he died His two sisters, Lillian and Ada, are also sick with the disease, but their condition is not serious. Mr. Grantís funeral was held on Friday and the body was buried at Lakewood.
