New Jersey Wills - 1899 - Mrs. Margaret Clayton

Mrs. D. W. Wilguss Gets Half of Her Motherís Estate.

The will of Mrs. Margaret Clayton, mother of Mrs. Delancy W. Wilguss of Red Bank, was probated last Saturday. Mrs.Clayton had made her home for some time with her daughter Margaret, wife of Craig C. Fleming of Englishtown. To this daughter Mrs. Clayton left $100 and a specially designated carpet. To her grandson, Howard Miller, she left the sum of $5. All the rest of her estate was directed to be divided equally between her two daughters, Mrs. Wilguss and Mrs. Fleming, and these two daughters were made the executrices of the will. Elmer E. Christie and Dr. Asher T. Applegate were the witnesses to the will, which was made July 24th, 1896.
