New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Roland Polhemus

Roland Polhemus of Pine Brook died at the home of his son-in-law, Lewis Cornelius, on Mechanic street, Red Bank last Thursday. He was 87 years old and death was due to general debility. He had been sick about a year. Two children survive him. His wife died about two months ago. The surviving children are Mrs. Lewis Cornelius of Red Bank and Roland Polhemus of Pine Brook. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at one o'clock from Mr. Cornelius's house and the service was conducted by Rev. E. J. Hammett, pastor of Zion Methodist church. The body was buried at White Ridge cemetery at Pine Brook.
