Jennie M. Garvey, daughter of Emma and Patrick Garvey of Chapel Hill, died on Saturday morning of typhoid pneumonia, aged sixteen years. She had been sick ten days. The funeral was held yesterday morning at half-past ten o’clock at St. Mary’s church at New Monmouth. The pupils of the Chapel Hill public school attended the funeral in a body. The pall bearers were Thomas Gorman, Herbert McCabe, Thomas Gill, William McLaughlin, William O’Hearn and Michael Kelly. The interment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery at Headden’s Corner.
