New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Joseph G. Judson

Joseph G. Judson of Keyport died on Tuesday morning of last week of Bright's disease, aged 35 years. He had been confined to his house about three months. He thought he had rheumatism and was doctoring himself for that disease. A physician was called in the day of his death, but nothing could then be done to save his life. Preparations were being made on the day of his death for a birthday celebration in his honor that night.
Mr. Judson was born in Brooklyn and moved to Keyport years ago. He married Miss Eugenia Sproul, daughter of the late Edgar Sproul of Keyport. She and one child survive him. He leaves also one sister, Mrs. Cyrus F. Sproul of Keyport. He was a member of Engine company, No. 1, of Keyport, and this company attended his funeral in a body.
