New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Mrs. Elizabeth De Bow

Mrs. Elizabeth De Bow of Holmansville, who was generally known as "Betty De Boo," died on Sunday of last week, aged 99 years, 7 months and 13 days. Her entire life, until about a year ago, was spent on a farm at Vanhiseville. Her husband was James De Bow, who died about forty years ago. De Bow's Corner, in the western part of the county, was named after her family. Mrs. De Bow leaves three daughters and one son. One of her daughters is Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds of Freehold. She had been a member of the Freehold Baptist church for 76 years. The body was buried at Cassville.
