Drowned at Virginia Beach
John Garrigan of Oceanport, brother of William Garrigan, who keeps the Oceanport hotel, was drowned at Virginia Beach on Sunday. John Garrigan, Winfield Price and John Price went to Virginia Beach last spring, where the Price's have fishing pounds. On Sunday they were returning from the nets, when the boat, containing nine men, was overturned. Garrigan, who could not swim, was drowned. The body was not found. A telegram was received by William Garrigan on Monday, announcing the death of his brother.
