Louis Miller, a veteran of the civil war, died last Wednesday at the home of Charles Frey at Freehold. Death was caused by infirmities brought on by the effects of wounds and by exposure to camp life. Mr. Miller was 78 years old. He was born in Germany and came to his country in 1859. He enlisted in the civil war and was wounded by a gunshot in the leg. After being honorably discharged from service he worked at his trade as blacksmith on Long Island.
