New Jersey Obituaries - June 15, 1898 - Mrs. Caroline Luff

Mrs. Caroline Luff, wife of George W. Luff of Rector place, died at Point Pleasant last Saturday. About two weeks before her death Mrs. Luff went to Point Pleasant to visit her niece, Mrs. Stephen Culver. On Saturday a week ago she fell and received injuries from which she died a week later. She was 75 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Luff formerly lived at Keyport, but for several years they had made their home with their daughter, the late Mrs. Arabella Cooper of Rector place. The funeral was held on Monday. A short service was held at the house of Mrs. Culver at Point Pleasant, after which the body was taken to Old Tennent church, where another service was held. The burial was in the Old Tennent churchyard.
