New Jersey Obituaries - July 27, 1898 - Joseph Despreaux

Joseph Despreaux died very suddenly at his home at Locust Point yesterday morning of cramp colic. On Sunday he was perfectly well, but shortly after he went to bed on Sunday night he was taken very sick. On Monday he was a little better, but early yesterday morning he grew worse and soon died. He was 57 years old and had lived at Locust Point all his life. His wife, who was Miss Annie Cherry of New York, died about three years ago.
