New Jersey Wills - February 9, 1898 - Mrs. Mary M. Dorn

Search this site by Keyword / Surname:

Mrs. Mary M. Dorn of Holmdel township, who also died a short time ago, made her will in 1886. She left the use of all her estate to her husband, John Dorn, as long as he should live, and after his death her daughter, Mrs. Mary H. Johnson, was to have the use of it as long as she should live. After her death the property is to be divided among Mrs. Dorn's heirs in the same manner as if she had died without making a will. Mr. Dorn died some time ago, and the use of the property therefore goes to the daughter at once. Mr. Dorn was made the executor of the will, but as he had died the court appointed Mrs. Johnson to carry out the provisions of the will. She declined to take charge of the estate and Benjamin B. Ogden was appointed. The will was drawn by the late Alfred Walling, Jr., and he and Garrett S. Jones were the witnesses.
