New Jersey Obituaries - December 21, 1898 - Mrs. Catherine A. (Taylor) Schanck

Mrs. Catherine A. Schanck, wife of Joseph Schanck of Freehold, died of paralysis last Friday morning. She was first stricken on Monday of last week, and on Friday morning she received the second and fatal stroke. Mrs. Schanck was born at Marlboro and was the daughter of the late John Taylor, and married Mr. Schanck in 1837. She and her husband lived at Marlboro until four years ago, when they moved to Freehold. Besides her husband she leaves one son, Creel T. Schanck of Brooklyn. Mrs. Schanck was over eighty years old.
