New Jersey Obituaries - August 24, 1898 - Henry Meyers

Henry Meyers, son of the late Isaac Meyers, died of consumption at Port Monmouth on Saturday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Stephen Carhart. He was 32 years old and had been sick about two months. He was at one time employed by Charles Rogers, the baker at Red Bank. He afterward went to New York, where he worked until two weeks before his death. The funeral was held on Monday at half-past two from the Belford Methodist church. The service was conducted by Rev. J. H. Boyd, who was assisted by Rev. Charles H. Phillips of Bridgeport, Conn. The burial was at Bay View.
