Mrs. Stewart Was Found Dead by Her Husband on His Return From Work

Mrs. William Stewart was found dead in her house on Monday night when her husband went home from work. Mrs. Stewart lived on Leighton avenue, above Beach street. She had been sick at times for the past two years and a half, but her sickness was not considered serious. On Monday her husband went to work as usual, leaving his wife in her ordinary health. She was up and around her house when he went away. When he returned at night she was lying dead on the bed. The body was cold, and Mrs. Stewart had evidently died shortly after her husband had left home. Death was declared to be due to heart disease. The funeral was held at the house at two o'clock this afternoon, and the burial was at Fair View. Mrs. Stewart was sixty years old.
