New Jersey Obituaries - August 10, 1898 - Dr. E. Gertrude Crum

Dr. E. Gertrude Crum, daughter of Richard Crum of Long Branch, died last Wednesday night of
peritonitis. She was 31 years old. Miss Crum underwent an operation for the removal of a
tumor a few weeks ago, but the operation was unsuccessful. She was to have been married to
Henry C. Olmstead of Binghamton, N. Y., in October. She had been a physician in the state
hospital at Binghamton for eight years.
