New Jersey Obituaries - April 27, 1898 - Mrs. Alice (Denise) Buck

Mrs. Alice (Denise) Buck died of paralysis at the home of her son-in-law, Edwin Hance, near Freehold, on Saturday a week ago. She was eighty years old. She was the daughter of Daniel Denise and was born near West Freehold. Mrs. Buck in the last of the twenty-one original members of the Freehold Reformed church, which was organized from the members of the old Brick church at Marlboro. Six daughters survive her. They are Mrs. Charles Smock of Red Bank; Mrs. David Lefferson of Colt's Neck; and Mrs. Joseph Hance, Mrs. Ann Herbert, Mrs. Henry W. Buck and Mrs. Edwin Hance of Freehold. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. John DuBois and Mrs. John Baird of Freehold.
