New Jersey Obituaries - September 22, 1897 - Albert Clement Harvey
|
Albert Clement Harvey, son of Mrs. Lydia E. Harvey of Oceanic, died on Saturday of consumption. He spent last winter in the South for his health, but his health was not improved thereby. He was 28 years old and unmarried. He was not confined to his bed until the day before his death. He was a very popular young man, and had a very wide circle of friends. He was a member of Narumsunk tribe of Red Men, the Haymakers' association and the Daughters of Pocahontas. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at one o'clock from his late residence and at half-past one o'clock from the Oceanic Presbyterian church. The pall bearers were all officers of the Red Men's lodge, or past officers of that body. They were James E. Bogle, H. G. Longstreet, Tunis S. Barkuloo, Levi B. VanNest, Robert Murphy and Jacob Zerr. There were a number of floral pieces from the lodges with which he had been connected.
