New Jersey Obituaries - October 13, 1897 - Joseph T. Osborn
|
Joseph T. Osborn died very suddenly at his home at Middletown last Friday. He had suffered from kidney trouble for several years and his death was caused by acute Bright's disease. Mr. Osborn was born at Middletown in 1826 and was 72 years old. He had lived at Middletown all his life, with the exception of a short time, when he lived at Red Bank. For thirty years Mr. Osborn had been employed as a bank messenger in New York and he held this position up to the time of his death. He went to New York the day before he died and on his return he appeared to be in his usual health. On Friday morning he complained of feeling sick and remained at home. During the morning he felt much better and at noon his wife left the room for a few minutes. On her return she found him dead.
