New Jersey Obituaries - November 3, 1897 - Terrence Hines, Sr.

Terrence Hines, Sr., of Long Branch, died last Wednesday. He had been in poor health for more than a year. Mr. Hines was born in Queens county, Ireland, 68 years ago. He came to this country when he was twenty years old and settled at Tinton Falls, where he lived for thirty years. He leaves six children, all of whom live at Long Branch. Two brothers and a sister also survive him. The brothers are Michael Hines of Tinton Falls and Thomas Hines of Long Branch. The funeral was held on Friday at the Star of the Sea church at Long Branch and the burial was made in Mount Carmel cemetery.
