Percy Falkenburg Dies Of Malarial Fever
He Was One of the Most Prominent Republicans and Business Men of Atlantic Highlands - Offices Held by Him
William Percy Falkenburg of Atlantic Highlands died suddenly yesterday morning after a sickness of about a week with malarial fever. He was about 32 years old and had lived at Atlantic Highlands since the place was first started. He was born near Barnegat. He had held several borough offices at Atlantic Highlands, and at the time of his death he was the chairman of the Middletown township Republican executive committee. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, and at his death he was the district deputy chancellor of the order. He was also street and water superintendent, and was inspector of the board of health. He was treasurer of the Atlantic Highlands board of trade. He married Miss Alice Davis, daughter of George Davis, eight years ago, who survives him. He also leaves two children. He carried an insurance of $2,500 on his life.
The funeral will be held at two o'clock to-morrow afternoon from the Atlantic Highlands Methodist church. The burial will be at Bay View cemetery.
