New Jersey Obituaries - July 7, 1897 - J. Weed Nafew

J. Weed Nafew died suddenly at Eatontown on Monday night, aged 45 years. He had been suffering for the past five years with a chronic liver and bowel complaint. Last Wednesday he had an attack of the disease and on Sunday night he had another attack. On Monday he was indiscreet in his eating, and this was indirectly the cause of his death. Mr. Nafew was born in New York, but at an early age he moved to Springfield, Ill. About fifteen years ago he moved to Eatontown and engaged in the drug business. The funeral will be held tomorrow.
