Sarah V. Holian.
Sarah V. Holian died at her home on Shrewsbury avenue on Friday. She was the youngest daughter of James Holian. She had been sick only a week, being confined to her bed, but her condition was not considered serious. She was17 years old. Her father, four sisters and one brother survive her. The funeral took place from St. James's church on Monday morning at nine o'clock. A requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. James A. Reynolds, assisted by Rev. Fathers Geogeghan and Crane. The Sodality, of which she was a member, attended the funeral in a body. The pallbearers were Misses Helena Henderson, Nellie Brannan, Lizzie Reilly, Beatrice Dugan, Mamie Taylor and Lizzie Sidell.
Mrs. Eliza Patterson.
Mrs. Eliza Patterson, who lived in Middletown township across the river from Red Bank, died on Sunday. She was the widow of the late Captain Joseph Patterson and the daughter of Daniel Smith of Middletown. She was in her 88th year. Several grown up children survive her. Her funeral was held from the Baptist church yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. K. Manning preaching the sermon. Mrs. Patterson was baptized in the Middletown Baptist church 61 years ago, and had been a member of the Red Bank Baptist church 44 years.
John F. Gifford.
John F. Gifford died at his home at West Long Branch after a two weeks' sickness. Pneumonia and heart failure caused his death. He was 48 years old and leaves a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Frederick W. Hendrickson of Long Island. The funeral was held yesterday at half-past two at the First Methodist church at West Long Branch. Mr. Gifford was a member of the Odd Fellows' and Junior Mechanics' lodges, which had charge of the burial.
Mrs. Elizabeth Polhemus.
Mrs. Elizabeth Polhemus died from a stroke of apoplexy at the Crawford homestead at Crawford's Corner on Monday night o last week. She was stricken about nine o'clock and lived only until midnight. She was the wife of Daniel Polhemus of Holmdel township and the sister of Charles and John B. Crawford. She was about forty years old.
Conrad Winters died at Cliffwood on Friday, May 3d, aged 65 years. Death was caused by pneumonia. He was born in Germany and came to this country in 1849. He had lived at Cliffwood 48 years. A widow and three children survive him.
Cooper Swan died at his home at Navesink on Friday night, May 3d, aged 49 years. Death was caused by blood poisoning, which came from a scratch of a rusty nail on his hand a few weeks ago. A wife and four children survive him.
Mrs. William H. Thompson.
Mrs. William H. Thompson died at her home at Long Branch on Saturday, May 4th, aged 32 years. An operation was performed at the hospital on the Wednesday previous to her death. She leaves a husband and two children.
Mrs. Annie Winn.
Mrs. Annie Winn died at her home at Navesink last Wednesday, aged 35 years. She was the wife of William T. Winn. Death was caused by peritonitis. Her husband and an infant child survive her.
James Boyce, St., died at this home at Keyport on Thursday, aged 68 years. Death was caused by paresis. He had lived at Keyport 43 years.

Joel B. Roberts died near Englishtown on Saturday, May 4th, aged 72 years. He was a farmer and leaves a widow and one son.

GIFFORD - At West Long Branch, on Saturday May 11th, John F. Gifford, aged 48 years.
HOLIAN - At Red Bank, on Friday, May 10th, Sarah V. Holian, aged 17 years.
LINEMAYER - At Matawan, on Monday, May 6th, Louisa M. Linemayer, aged 6 years.
PATTERSON - In Middletown township, on Sunday, May 12th, Mrs. Eliza Patterson, aged 86 years.
POLHEMUS - At Crawford's Corner, on Monday, May 6th, Mrs. Elizabeth Polhemus, aged 40 years.
ROBERTS - In Marlboro township, on Sunday, May 5th, Joel B. Roberts, aged 72 years.
ROBERTS - Near Englishtown, on Saturday, May 4th, Joel B. Roberts, aged 73 years.
SWAN - At Navesink, on Friday, May 3d, Cooper Swan, aged 49 years.
THOMPSON - At Long Branch, on Saturday, May 4th, Mrs. William H. Thompson, aged 38 years.
WINN - At Navesink, on Wednesday, May 8th, Mrs. Annie Winn, aged 35 years.
WINTERS - At Cliffwood, on Friday, May 3d, Conrad Winters, aged 65 years.
