Miss Maria Z. Bennett died suddenly on Monday of last week at the residence of her brother-in-law, Michael Taylor, of Holmdel. She went out of doors for something, and sank down upon the brick walk, calling for assistance; but when help came, which was almost immediately, she was unconscious and she died just as they laid her upon a bed. Heart disease caused her death. She was over 70 years old.

Death notice lists her age as 70 years and 9 months.
