John Test, the oldest resident of Monmouth county, died at Clarksburg, in Millstone township, on Thursday, October 13th. He was 101 years of age. Clarksburg is several miles from a railroad, and Mr. Test had never been far enough from home to see either a locomotive or a steamboat. He was very active up to within a few months of his death, and his favorite occupation in his later days was chopping wood.
