Mrs. Mary Bray died at Lakewood on Tuesday of last week at the age of 79 years and seven months. The funeral was held Friday, and on Saturday the remains were taken to the cemetery at Holmdel for interment. Mrs Bray was a widow. her maiden name was Truex, and she was sister of the late JohnnTruex, of red Bank, and of Brigadier General William Truex, who went out in '62 as colonel of the Fourteenth New Jersey Infantry, and was made brigadier general for gallantry in the field. Gen. Truex now resides at Manasquan. The Truex family are descendants of the Huguenot family of that name who came to this country from France after the massacreof St. Bartholomew's day, over a century ago.
