Walter S. Green, the keeper of the life saving station near Green's Pond, died on Sunday from Bright's disease of the kidneys. For some time previous to his death Mr. Green had been stopping at the Hotel Shrewsbury, at Seabright. He had been complaining for some time, but had been confined to his room only a few days. He was the son of James Green, who many years ago kept the Bath hotel at Long Branch, which was one of the earliest hotels on that part of the coast. he was about 50 years of age.
