Wm. P. Forman, ex-Judge of the Monmouth County courts, died at his home
in Millstone township on Tuesday of last week in his 79th year. Death was
due to an affection of the heart. He was the son of a farmer, and in his early
manhood he taught school for several years. He was a surveyor by profession,
and afterward carried on this business in connection with the management
of his farm. he was twice elected to the Legislature and was appointed
judge of the court for four terms of five years each. In 1833 Mr. forman married
Miss Evalina Baird, daughter of Capt. David Baird, by whom he had four
children (two sons and two daughters). Three children survive him, Franchinchy,
wife of J. Cook Rue, of Millstone; Elizabeth, wife of John Van Mater, of Colt's Neck,
and ex-Assemblyman, peter Forman.
