Somersworth, NH Death Records

We have compiled a database of deaths registered in the city of Somersworth for 1894, 1897, 1899, 1900 and 1901 for you to use in your genealogical research. These records list the date of death, full name, age, frequently place of birth, gender, sometimes marital status, name of father, maiden name of mother, and cause of death. These records have been extracted from annual reports published by the city. We noted several apparent errors in the original document and have highlighted these where we felt it was not obvious to the reader. For example, we did not note the apparent error where one-day old children are listed as "Widow(er)" as this seems to be unlikely to be missed by anyone! In fact every person whose death was registered in the city during 1897 was listed as a "Widow(er)."
