Delmar D. Kirkpatrick, 67, of R.R. 2, Bloomington, died at 10:30 p.m.
Saturday (July 15, 2000) at LeRoy Manor Nursing Home, LeRoy.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Metzler-Froelich Memorial
Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Fred Belcher officiating. Burial will be in
East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
today at the memorial home.
Memorials may be made to OSF Franciscan Hospice, LeRoy Manor or the Community
Cancer Center.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was born on March 20, 1933, at Saybrook, a son of Miller and
Mabel Vinson Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by three brothers, Robert V. (Norene) Kirkpatrick, LeRoy; Elton C. Kirkpatrick, Saybrook; and Dale B. Kirkpatrick, Gibson City; and two sisters, Erma Reining, Gibson City; and Mary (Richard) Barnette, Amarillo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Eugene, Gale and Kenneth Kirkpatrick; and a sister, Ollie Kinsell.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He farmed for the past 48 years at Saybrook and rural Bloomington.
