Leonard F. HAYES, 78, of Coal City died Thursday (Dec. 18, 1969) at Danville Veterans Hospital in Danville, where he had been a patient since April. Born in Wilmington, he resided there for many years, working as a farmer and carpenter. A World War I veteran, Mr. HAYES was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn, and nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Patricia) MARTIN, and a sister, Miss Mary HAYES, both of Coal City. Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday from the Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington to St. Rose Cathollic Church there at 10. The Rev. George Kuzma will officiate. Burial will be in the veteran's section at Woodlawn Cemetery in Joliet. Friends may call from 7 to 10 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
