David D. Bramble
DEATH OF D. B. BRAMBLE
Intelligence has been recently received by the relatives of the
deceased in this place, informing them that David D. Bramble, for a number of years a citizen of
Yankton, died at Keyport, New Jersey on Friday, the 30th, of July last, at the age of 32 years. The
deceased came to Yankton in April, 1865, and entered almost immediately into active business, which
he prosecuted with so much tact and energy, that now in 1870, the firm of Bramble & Wooley have
one of the most extensive furniture establishments and timber yards in Dakota - the harvest of
prosperity is ready, but he who has sown so faithfully and well through many adverse years, is refused
the pleasure of reaping the fruits of his toil and labor here. Mr. Bramble was one of our
enterprising citizens, and much respected. D. T. Bramble and C. E. Bramble, both prominent merchants
here, are brothers of the deceased and we believe they have the earnest sympathy of many friends in
their sad bereavement.
