California Obituaries - 1899 - Lester Williamson

Frank Williamson received the sad news Thursday evening, that his youngest son, Lester, who was so badly burned about six weeks ago, at Grass Valley, had succumbed to its injuries. The little one was an inmate of the Sisters' Home at Grass Valley, to which institution it was sent some two years ago upon the death of its mother, from this city.

Lester, who was a bright fellow, was about four years of age. His burns were received while busying himself about the kitchen fire. The interment took place the following morning at Grass Valley, and the intelligence having been received at such a late hour, in this city, and it being impossible for him to reach that place in time to attend the services, Frank did not go up.
