The following is a list of reports issued by the United States War Department, extracted from newspapers,
which detail casualties of the American army abroad, reported by date. These lists detail names of casualties,

were killed in action, died of wounds, lost at sea, killed by accident, were victims of
gas and other causes, killed or taken prisoner, died of disease, and civilians killed as well as

These reported are taken as released to the public and will not be corrected except as reported
