MUSSER, PAUL
"An honest man, close-buttoned to the chin,
Broadcloth without, and a warm hart within."-Cowper
Paul Gray Musser, a member of the General German Section,
came from the Clay Street Grammar School. In his Freshman
year he was captain of the class track team. He was also a
member of the class track team in his Sophomore year as well
as Secretary of that class. As a Junior, "Muss" was the class
Treasurer. This year he is the Vice-President of the class as
well as one of the class prophets. He is interested in speaking,
and was one of the capable presidents of the Red and Black
Literary Society.

MYERS, JOHN
"The great silent man! looking around on the noisy inanity
of the world."-Carlyle.
John Fletcher Myers came from Chestnut Street School and
took up the Classical Course. John is a very quiet boy and has
taken very little part in class affairs. Perhaps he has been overlooked
in the selection of committees because he is so quiet, but
when he was made chairman of the Senior Banquet Committee
he performed his duties in a very capable manner. John was a
very active member of the Red and Black Literary Society. He
expects to enter Franklin and Marshall in the fall.

NORRIS, ARTHUR
"And when a lady's in the case,
You know all other things give place."-Gay
James Arthur Norris a member of the Commercial German
Section, is commonly called "Rip" by his schoolmates. This title
is an abbreviation of file name Rip Van Winkle given him by a
teacher on account of his habit of going to sleep during recitation
period. Another more recent title is that of "horse killer"
which he received after he tried to drive a horse to death while
on the greens trip. He is a very quiet fellow and attracts attention
to himsellf only by having a short circuit occasionally in
physics class. "Rip" was comedian at the Boys' Glee Club Concert.
He was very successful in this role, and kept the audience
in roars of laughter .
