LOBACH, CATHERINE

    "By our efforts we hope to rise."
"Kats," the best student, was the manager of the Athletic Association, a member of the basket ball team, librarian, and member of the Glee Club and the Choir .

LURIO, ELSIE

    "Why live, except for love?"
"Ray", the most indifferent, was a member of the Mandolin Club, the Travel Club, and the Athenian Literary Society. Florence, otherwise known as "Flop", is a member of the Glee Club, a member of the Athenian Literary Society, and a member of our much lamented basket ball team. "Flop" is also a welL known member of the A. T. (always talking) Club.

MICHAEL, HAZEL

    "Neat, but not finical, Sage, but not cynical."
Hazel Michael came to High School from Franklin Street. "Bobby" is a member of the Athenian Literary Society and of the Commercial Section, in which she is one of the good students. She looks to be a very quiet and serious girl, but such is not the case as she is a general all-around favorite with both the "c1,1t-ups" and the "gentle ones."

MILLER, GERTRUDE

Gertrude Miller was a member of the Athenian Literary Society and president of that body for a term. While in this position she proved herself very capable and efficient. "Kid" is a very studious and popular girl and is always willing to help her companions out of any difficulty they may be in. She came to us from the Mulberry Street School.

MILLER, LOIS

    "Lave once, and you love always."
"Louis", the baby of our class, was a member of the Florentine Literary Society, and one of the school pianists.
