ADAMS, DOROTHY

    "Timid and stepping fast, With modest eyes downcast."
is the way one generally sees Dorothy Adams, otherwise known as "Dot". She is a very quiet girl, persevering in all her work and well liked by everybody. "Dot" came from the Mary Street Grammar School and is a member of the Commercial Course and the Athenian Literary Society.

BECHTOLD, DOROTHEA

    "Come along, never lose heart."
"Dot", the expert ice-skater, was a member of the Athenian Literary Society and the Glee Club.

BENDER, MARY

Mary, "one of the prettiest," is a member of the Glee Club, a member of the Athenian Society, and pianist of the S. H. S. Or- chestra. Mary, although you would not think. it, to look at her, is a very prominent member of the A. T. Club.

BOWERS, ETHEL

Ethel Bowers, a member of the Classical Section, came to High School from East Petersburg Grammar School. She is a mem- ber of the Florentine Literary Society. A personality follows:
Mental1y - Enough for all required studies.
Moral1y - Enough for herself, with some remaining. .
Physically - Enough for one person, and some more.
Social1y - Popular, jolly, lovable, altogether, charming.

BRENNEMAN, ROENNA

Roenna, "The Most Talkative", is a member of the Athenian Society, and a candidate for admittance to the Society of Tragedy. Roenna is the best known member of the A. T. Club.

BROWN, GERTRUDE

Gertrude Brown, of the Commercial Section, came to us from the Rohrerstown Grammar School. She was a member of the Glee Club during her Sophomore and Junior years, and as a Senior belonged to the Athenian Literary Society and the Senior Choir. She is Exchange Editor of the NEWS and has filled her positon very capably. "Gertie" is everybody's friend, being ready for fun at all times.
