Slovak Recipes - Lekvar

Lekvar

I take dry prunes put into a large jar, cover with water, put into microwave cook for about 10 minutes then let it set till cool. Pour off liguid (but save it) put prunes into blender and puree till smooth( you can add sugar but not necessary) That's it! If it's too thick add a little of the juice if too thin you can cook it more also the sugar will thicken it a little too.
