Mrs. Floranda Muse
Floranda (Bachman) Muse, widow of Aaron Muse, died suddenly of complications Friday night at the home of Albert Muse, along New Tripoli R-2, at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 21 days.
Mrs. Muse was born in Weisenberg township, a daughter of the late Dennis and Maria (Bleiler) Bachman. Her husband preceded her in death two years ago. There are no other survivors. Mrs. Muse was a member of the Reformed wing of Lynnville church.
Undertaker Victor Snyder of New Tripoli will be in charge of the funeral.
George McCollum, 711 South Fifth street, passed away at 2:30 p.m. yesterday at his home from a complication of ailments, after an illness of three years. He was in his 74th year.
Mr. McCollum is survived by his wife, Lizzie (nee Pilgert), the only close relative to mourn his loss. He had been employed in the barb mill af the American Steel and Wire company for more than forty years.
He was a member of Lehigh lodge, No. 83, I. O. O. F., and Allentown castle, No. 55, K. G. E.
The funeral will be held from his late home on Wednesday at 1 p.m., D. S. T. Services will be conducted at the house. Interment will be made in the Mertztown cemetery.
George R. Fenstermaker
George R., infant son of Howard and Arline May (nee Wetzel) Fenstermaker, who was taken sick last Saturday and removed to the Allentown hospital on Wednesday, passed away at the institution, aged 1 year and 14 days.
Besides the parents, the child is survived by a brother, Carl; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fenstermaker; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wetzel, and the great grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Merkle, all of Alburtis R.D. 1. The baby was a member of the Cradle Roll of the Lehigh Church Sunday school.
Funeral services will be held at the home of the parents, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Wetzel at Alburtis, R.D. 1, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. All services will be held at the house and interment will be made in Lehigh Church cemetery. Friends may call to view the remains on Tuesday night from 7 to 9 o'clock.
William M. Wright
William McKenzie Wright, 53, of 142 Pennsylvania avenue, Bangor, died at 8:20, Friday morning in Easton hospital, where he underwent an operation three weeks ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Buskirk Wright, a son, Joseph Wright and a step-son Edwin Smith, all of Bangor. He was a native of England and had resided in Bangor for the past 29 years. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church, Bangor.
