MRS LODWICK, BORN HERE, DIES
Mrs Anna Catherine Lodwick, wife of
Miles Lodwick, 839 Norwood Ave., died of pneumonia, Friday
at 2:15 p.m. at her home after an illness of 10 days. Mrs Lodwick was born in
this city, Oct 25, 1866, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Herlinger
Weimer. She had lived in this city her entire life and was well known and highly
respected by a host of friends who will regret to hear of her death. Her
early education was received in the old Martin Luther School. Mrs Lodwick
was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. She was married 31 years ago.
She leaves her husband and two children: Mrs John Ellis, and Mrs Frank
Timlin, both of this city. She also leaves five grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs
William Bader, Youngstown and Mrs Jacob Strahley, Warren, and a
brother, George Weimer, of this city.
Funeral services will be held at the
residence at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Rev. Jesse Leroy Miller will officiate and burial
will be in Tod Cemetery.
